  1. Dana, I just stumbled across your wonderful blog today – of all days – only to discover that you are leaving Seattle. Your recipes and fabulous stories will no doubt endure and Oakland will be far the better for your skills, but Seattle sure has lost someone cool. The irony here is that I have literally just returned to Seattle after a brief attempt at living back on the east coast with family where I grew up. I missed the Pacific Northwest so much I simply couldn’t stay away. Your references to moving were very poignant and really struck a chord with me. Best of luck in your new adventures and know that you have a new fan here in Seattle who wishes you well!
