  1. I live in Columbus, Ohio — home of Jeni and her ice cream phenomena. This woman did it right. With limited success her first time out, my understanding is that she took a couple of years off to learn about ice cream from the inside out, travelling worldwide before coming home to launch her startup anew. I don’t think words do justice to how incredible her product is. Her benchmark flavor and my personal favorite is Salty Caramel — sublime– which I first tasted when Jeni’s marketing effort included a traveling cart which offered free samples at non-profit events. Brilliant.
